Privacy Policy for AlarmX

AlarmX ("we", "our", or "us") is a free alarm clock application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use AlarmX.

1. Information We Collect

AlarmX does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to our own servers. The app stores your alarm settings, preferences, and saved world clock cities locally on your device only.

2. Advertising

AlarmX displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to show you personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent choice. This may include:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location (country level)
• Device type, OS version, and language
• App usage information

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your consent at any time via the Privacy Settings option in the app's Settings screen.

3. Cookies

AlarmX itself does not use cookies. The Google AdMob SDK may use cookies and similar technologies as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions, used solely for core functionality:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to show alarm notifications
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – to fire alarms at the exact time you set
• VIBRATE – for alarm vibration
• WAKE_LOCK – to wake the screen when an alarm fires
• INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – required by the AdMob SDK
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE – for the alarm ringtone service

5. Data Retention

All data (alarms, settings) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. We do not retain any data on external servers.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

AlarmX is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. CCPA – California Residents

California residents may opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Advertising data is handled by Google AdMob under Google's own privacy framework. You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's advertising settings or via the Privacy Settings in the app.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the data collected about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Withdraw your consent at any time (via Privacy Settings in the app)

9. Third-Party Services

This app uses Google AdMob. By using AlarmX, you also agree to be bound by Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be available within the app and at the URL provided in the Google Play Store listing.
