Privacy Policy for AlarmX

AlarmX ("we", "our", or "us") is a free alarm clock application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use AlarmX.

1. Information We Collect

AlarmX does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). The app stores your alarm settings, preferences, and saved world clock cities locally on your device only. We operate no servers and receive no data from the app.

2. Advertising

AlarmX contains no advertising. We do not integrate any advertising SDK, we do not access your Advertising ID, and no advertising network receives any data from this app.

3. Cookies and Tracking

AlarmX does not use cookies, analytics, or any other tracking technology.

4. Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions, used solely for core functionality:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to show alarm, timer, and stopwatch notifications
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – to fire alarms at the exact time you set
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – to restore your saved alarms after the device restarts
• WAKE_LOCK – to wake the device when an alarm fires
• VIBRATE – for alarm and timer vibration
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK – to reliably play the alarm and timer sounds while the screen is off
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS – optional; you may grant this so battery saver does not delay or block your alarms
• INTERNET – only to open external links from this privacy policy screen. The app itself works fully offline and sends no data over the network.

5. Data Retention

All data (alarms, timers, settings) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. We retain nothing, because we never receive anything.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

AlarmX is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

7. CCPA – California Residents

We do not collect, share, or sell personal information. AlarmX stores all data locally on your device and transmits nothing to us or to any third party, so there is no sale of personal information to opt out of.

8. Your Rights

Because all of your data stays on your own device, you have direct and complete control over it at all times. You can view and edit your alarms and settings within the app, and delete all of them at once by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device's system settings. There is no account to close and no server-side copy to request.

9. Third-Party Services

AlarmX does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking service.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be available within the app and at the URL provided in the Google Play Store listing.
