Overview

Welcome to Dice & Coin, developed by EditCrafted. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our Android application. Dice & Coin is a casual entertainment app offering coin flip, single dice roll, double dice, triple dice, quad dice, roll statistics, and customizable settings.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not operate any servers, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Short version: Dice & Coin collects nothing. Everything the app remembers — your settings and your roll history — stays on your own device and never leaves it.
🗂️

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data whatsoever. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any account information.

The app saves the following data locally on your device only, using Android's standard app storage. This data is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared:

What Is Stored Purpose Where It Lives
App preferences Remember your sound, vibration and dark mode choices On your device only
Coin flip statistics & history Show your heads/tails counts and recent flips On your device only
Dice roll statistics & history Show your roll totals and recent rolls per dice mode On your device only
Selected coin skin Remember which coin design you picked On your device only
You can erase this data at any time using the Reset option on the statistics screens, by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
🚫

No Ads, No Analytics, No Tracking

Dice & Coin contains none of the following:

Because there is no advertising or tracking in the app, there is nothing to opt out of and no consent dialog is required.

🔑

App Permissions

The app declares only two Android permissions, both non-sensitive:

Permission Why It Is Needed
VIBRATE Haptic feedback when you flip a coin or roll dice. You can turn it off in Settings.
INTERNET Required by the app framework. It is not used to send your data anywhere — the only network use is opening this policy page in your browser if you tap the link.

The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or any other sensitive permission. All 3D dice and coin animations run entirely offline from assets bundled inside the app.

🇪🇺

GDPR / EEA / UK Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.

Dice & Coin does not process any personal data as defined by the GDPR. We are not a data controller or processor of your personal information, because no personal data ever leaves your device or reaches us.

🇺🇸

CCPA – California Users

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.

We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information — not for advertising, not for analytics, not for any other purpose. There is no category of personal information collected by this app, and therefore nothing to disclose, delete, or opt out of.

If you would like written confirmation of the above for your records, you may contact us at the email address below.

⚖️

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

Since we hold no data about you on any server, these rights are effectively already satisfied: the only data that exists is on your own device, fully under your control. You can view it inside the app, reset it from the statistics screens, or delete it entirely by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. If you have any question about this, contact us using the email below.

🧒

Children's Privacy

Dice & Coin is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain EEA countries).

The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat or user-generated content, and no external links other than this privacy policy. It complies with the principles of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policy.

If you believe that any personal information has somehow been collected through this app, please contact us immediately at the email address below and we will act promptly.

🗄️

Data Retention

We do not retain any data on our servers — because we have no servers.

All app data (preferences, statistics and roll history) is stored locally on your device for as long as the app is installed. It is removed when you reset the statistics inside the app, clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app.

🔐

Security

Because no data is transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept. The app disables cleartext (unencrypted) network traffic, and any link it opens uses HTTPS. Local app data is protected by Android's standard app sandbox, which prevents other apps from reading it, and automatic cloud backup of app data is disabled.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and installing the app only from the official Google Play Store.

📝

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g., via an in-app notice on next launch).

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
