This Privacy Policy describes how Rizz Replies ("we", "us", "our", or the "App") handles information when you use our mobile application. Rizz Replies is an AI-powered text reply assistant that helps you generate suggested replies to messages you have received.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Rizz Replies is designed to collect as little information as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier.

The App processes the following information:

• Message text you provide: When you paste a received message into the App and request a suggested reply, that text is sent to our backend service for AI processing.
• Reply preferences: Optional settings (such as tone or style) that you choose when requesting a reply.

We do not collect:

• Login or account information (the App has no login system).
• Location data.
• Contacts.
• Camera, microphone, photos, or media library content.
• Advertising identifiers.
• Analytics or usage tracking data.

3. How We Use Information

The text you submit is used solely to:

• Generate AI-suggested replies and return them to your device.
• Apply basic safety and moderation checks required to operate the service responsibly.

We do not use your text to build user profiles, to advertise to you, or for any purpose unrelated to generating your requested reply.

4. AI Processing

To generate replies, the App sends your submitted text to our backend at https://rizz-replies.onrender.com, which forwards the request to the Google Gemini API (provided by Google) for AI processing. The generated reply suggestions are then returned to your device.

By using the App, you understand that:

• Your submitted text is transmitted over the internet to our backend and to Google's Gemini API for the sole purpose of generating a reply.
• Google's handling of data sent to the Gemini API is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies.
• You should avoid pasting sensitive personal information (such as passwords, financial details, government IDs, or health information) into the App.

5. Local Storage

Saved replies and your reply history are stored locally on your device using the device's standard preferences storage. This data:

• Stays on your device.
• Is not uploaded to our servers as part of the history or saved replies feature.
• Is removed if you uninstall the App or clear the App's data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share submitted text only with:

• Our backend service (https://rizz-replies.onrender.com), which acts as the intermediary that calls the AI provider.
• Google Gemini API, strictly for the purpose of generating a reply you requested.

We do not share your text with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

7. Data Retention

• On your device: Saved replies and history remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
• On our backend: We do not permanently store the messages you submit. Your text is processed in transit to generate a reply and is not retained as a permanent record by us. Temporary, short-lived processing data (such as request logs needed to operate the service) may exist briefly for reliability and abuse-prevention purposes and is not used to identify you.
• AI provider: Google's retention practices for data sent to the Gemini API are governed by Google.

8. Children's Privacy

Rizz Replies is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us so we can address the matter.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit, including HTTPS encryption between the App, our backend, and the AI provider. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use the App responsibly and avoid submitting sensitive personal information.

10. User Controls

• Clear history: You can clear your reply history at any time from the App's Settings.
• Clear saved replies: You can delete saved replies at any time from the App's Settings.
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data associated with it.
• Choose what to submit: You decide what text to paste into the App. Avoid submitting information you do not want to be processed by an AI service.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
